The incumbent will use their significant sales management experience to lead, inspire and manage a team and drive growth in revenue and margin nationally by increasing the penetration of ZOLL products and services into existing accounts and to convert accounts that are currently non-ZOLL Accounts, and meet, or exceed revenue targets and performance objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Position ZOLL Medical as the market leader in resuscitation solutions by developing and executing strategies to expand market share.

  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize market potential and achieve revenue, pricing, and market share goals.

  • Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and a winning team spirit. Conduct performance appraisals, hire, and provide coaching.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders in the market.

  • Deliver accurate order and sales forecasts. Ensure regular sales reporting from the team, with monthly updates to management.

  • Ensure the team adheres to CRM systems and reporting protocols, maintaining data accuracy and consistency.

  • Design and implement sales strategies tailored to the dynamic needs of the market, addressing challenges and seizing opportunities.

  • Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to ensure seamless order processing, accurate financial forecasting, and alignment of sales objectives with operational capabilities. This includes providing necessary data and insights to support budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • University Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 8 years in the medical device industry, with a focus on medical equipment sales.

  • Proven experience in leading a sales team to achieve and exceed market goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong focus on continuous improvement, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture within the team.

  • Strong track record of delivering sustained profitable growth in the healthcare market and developing markets for new and emerging medical technology.

  • Excellent ability to build lasting relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

  • Ability to understand and communicate complex clinical and technical information clearly.

  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and market knowledge skills, with a goal-oriented approach.

  • Ability to develop innovative cooperation models in sales processes.

  • Excellent communication and people-management skills.
