About the Role
As the Technical Service Manager, APAC, you will oversee the daily operations of our Technical Services teams across the region. Your goal will be to ensure exceptional service delivery, high operational efficiency, and strong customer engagement, all while fostering team development and aligning with business goals.
Essential Functions
Lead and manage regional Technical Service teams, including Managers, Engineers, and Technicians.
Drive strategic planning, define departmental objectives, and implement performance metrics.
Improve service processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and raise customer satisfaction.
Develop and oversee service operating budgets, ensuring resource optimization and cost control.
Collaborate with Sales and Service Commercial teams to align service offerings with market needs.
Ensure service center excellence in the APAC service centers.
Strengthen ExpertCare service adoption and support infrastructure across APAC.
Provide strong leadership through coaching, mentoring, and staff development.
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements through accurate service documentation.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the Medical Device or Biomedical Engineering industry.
At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a similar field.
Proven experience with on-site technical support and problem-solving.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work independently or in a team.
Willingness to travel across the APAC region and to Corporate headquarters when needed.
