The Role
The Operations Manager, ANZ will oversee and drive operational activities related within Australia and New Zealand. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective planning, execution, and delivery of Sales Operation related objectives while providing exceptional leadership, guidance and support to the team. The Operations Manager, ANZ will play a pivotal role in project execution, coordination, and ensuring alignment with ZOLL Medical’s strategic business goals and GSORG policies.

Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
Lead and manage warehouse and operational efforts for all projects, ensuring successful project milestones and deliverables.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, and external partners, to align strategies and achieve project goals.
Ensure project timelines, resources, and budgets are effectively managed.
Customer Service and Orders Management
Act as a primary point of contact for sales-related queries and support, delivering high standards of service to meet customer needs.
Coordinate with the sales, service, and warehouse team to ensure efficient delivery of products and services.
Ensure customer POs processed accurately on timely basis within one business day.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customers understanding all needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Conduct weekly reviews of the Sales Order backlog in coordination with local Sales leadership to ensure accurate and timely release of SOAs to the warehouse team for picking, packing, and shipment.
Lead and represent ANZ in quarter-end backlog calls with APAC management team
Inventory and Revenue Management
Effective procurement practice to ensure timely replenishment of Warehouse Inventory to support regional needs while maintaining optimal Inventory Turns per Quarter.
Ensure accurate replenishment process to minimize waste on Shelf-Life related products
Conducts Weekly Cycle Counting and Full Inventory Counting every 12 months with aim to achieve <1% discrepancy.
Work closely with Orders Management Team to ensure of Pick Pack efficiency and accuracy – Same Day Pick
Warehouse and Logistics Management
Oversees the day-to-day workflow and scheduling of all related functions including, Procurement, Shipping, and Warehouse.
Compare to ensure rates efficiency for all inbound outbound shipments
Maintain strong relationship with company appointed Freight Forwarding vendors
Enforcement of proper PPE and Safety procedure within Warehouse
Proper 5S, housekeeping and maintenance of Warehouse, Staging and Pick Pack area.
Leadership & Manpower Management within Operations Department
Oversee workforce planning, allocation, and development within the Operations Department to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members to help them achieve their Individual Business Objectives (IBOs).
Ensure departmental operations align with local regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Utilize data and analytics to monitor team performance, assess productivity, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Continuously review and enhance operational processes to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and team performance.
Site and facility management
Oversee day-to-day site operations, including building maintenance, utilities, space planning, and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and building regulations.
Coordinate emergency response plans and drills; act as the site emergency coordinator.
Monitor energy usage and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or any related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, Warehouse, Project management, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or medical devices industry.
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, complex projects with a focus on customer engagement and sales growth.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in logistics and project management tools and software; experience with CRM systems is a must.
Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations, particularly related to medical devices and services, is highly desirable.
Good documentation practise is a must
Forklift License is a must
Working Conditions:
This position may require occasional travel to support project needs, customer interactions, or internal meetings.
The role may involve working with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
