Job Summary
As a Territory Manager, you will be accountable for achieving territory sales goals while managing all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting and presenting demos to preparing tenders and closing deals. You will work directly with healthcare professionals across hospitals to introduce cutting-edge solutions that improve patient care.
Essential Functions
Execute strategic territory plans aligned with company objectives
Conduct structured sales calls and direct selling to hospital personnel
Identify and develop new hospital accounts and business opportunities
Lead product trials and demonstrations; coordinate RFPs and proposals
Manage the full tendering process, including interviews and product presentations
Provide post-sales support through site visits and in-service training
Organize and drive resuscitation initiatives within hospital settings
Maintain accurate sales records and utilize Salesforce.com for reporting
Collaborate with Business Partners on large-scale projects and tendering
Perform market research and competitive analysis
Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key accounts
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Nursing background would be a plus
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the medical device industry (medical equipment)
3+ years of successful sales experience with a track record of exceeding targ
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Deep understanding of hospital procurement and sales processes
Proven ability to engage KOLs and key decision-makers
Strong negotiation, influencing, and account management skills
Highly organized, results-driven, and resilient under pressure
High ethical standards and professional integrity
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
