Machine Operator I

Location: Deerfield, WI
Resuscitation

Job Summary:

Operation of production machinery and equipment (rotary/punch presses, forming equipment, ECG machines, etc.) to support manufacturing needs.

Essential Functions:

Run production machine (s) as directed/scheduled.
Perform in-line inspection based on training and make minor adjustments to maintain production conformances.
Provide Q.C. test samples/first piece/last piece as required.
Notify Manufacturing Engineers/Supervisor of any performance issues with equipment.
Fill out appropriate route slips/day sheets.
Report any machine safety issues to supervisor.
Inventory control and material handling tasks as needed.
Report any material quality issues to supervisor for disposition.
Operate machines at peak efficiency.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Follow all established policies, rules, regulations and procedures.

Skill Requirements:

Overall knowledge of product tolerances and machine capabilities.
Must be able to read and understand assembly documentation, blueprints and/or wire lists.
Must be able to use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.
Ability to perform repetitive motion type tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time; bend, stoop, reach, turn as required
Must be familiar with general computer operation.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English




Required/ Preferred Education and Experience:

High School Graduate or equivalent
Entry level, generally less than 1 year experience
QSR experience a plus

Job Summary

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
