Job Summary
The Logistics Executive is responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping documentation.
This role supports the supply chain by working closely with internal teams, ZOLL factories, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
Essential Functions
- Establish strong communication with the local Customer Service team to receive updates on newly created Sales Order Acknowledgements (SOAs).
- Review and verify SOAs to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Plan inventory requirements and place timely Purchase Orders with the ZOLL factory.
- Monitor and replenish shelf-life sensitive inventory weekly to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Track daily local backlogs, scheduled ship dates, and inbound shipment schedules from ZOLL factories.
- Serve as the main liaison with 3PL warehouses for local delivery coordination and the scheduling of weekly cycle counts.
- Assist in goods receiving for weekly import shipments, ensuring accurate updates in the 3PL warehouse system and ZOLL Oracle system.
- Create, document, publish, and maintain standard shipping procedures.
- Manage import shipments via parcel carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx) and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with import regulations.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and Commercial teams to ensure adherence to shipping and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Create and manage delivery notes and all required shipping documents to facilitate timely and accurate customer order fulfilment.
- Understand ZOLL factory shipping schedules and coordinate with distribution centers to track order statuses, ensuring sufficient lead time for document preparation and shipment execution.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related operations.
- Familiarity with international shipping, customs regulations, and incoterms.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and working with third-party logistics providers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word, for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and in challenging customer situations.
- Willingness to take ownership of task assigned and strive for continuous improvement
