Job Summary
ZOLL Itamar's Accounts Receivable Manager should possess solid exposure and senior-level experience in Accounts Receivables and Collections. The ideal candidate will lead the AR team and perform tasks related to supporting Accounts Receivable functions, distribution of customer invoices, revenue reporting, and more. This position will spearhead the collections initiative, including contacting customers with delinquent accounts and maintaining detailed records. The Accounts Receivable Manager will report to the Director of Finance.
Essential Functions
Provide direction and assign daily tasks to Accounts Receivable specialists.
Train specialists in contacting suppliers and/or customers based on direction from the Accounting Manager and team needs.
Assist with month-end close duties.
Compile financial data and maintain AR, collections, and invoicing reports.
Handle general ledger entries related to AR.
Assist with higher-level accounting tasks, including projects as needed.
Create, maintain, and distribute invoice-related materials to customers.
Verify the accuracy of business transactions and suggest efficiencies as needed.
Work on various projects and other duties as assigned.
Ensure the accuracy of invoices and send them to customers.
Prepare receivable statements.
Monitor unpaid invoices and communicate with customers by making collection phone calls and/or issuing collection letters.
Support the sales team with research and inquiries related to customer transactions.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
Three to five years of related experience in accounting/finance or other related fields.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Excellent math and data entry skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience and ability to lead a team.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work under pressure.
Quick learner with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a dynamic team.
Ability to create office documents or correspondence.
Willingness to work on various projects and other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements
This position does not include travel outside of the Atlanta office.
