Job Summary
As a Warehouse Lead at ZOLL Itamar Medical, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The Warehouse Lead is expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Essential Functions
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve performance targets and maintain a positive work environment.
- Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Inventory Control:
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize overstock and stockouts.
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to optimize inventory storage and organization.
- Order Fulfillment and Shipping:
- Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders accurately and on time.
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain product integrity.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address damaged or defective products.
- Report and document any quality issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Uphold safety protocols, including the proper use of equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Investigate and report any accidents or safety incidents and take corrective action as necessary.
- Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
- Perform regular maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
- Report and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in a warehouse setting. preferred
- 1-3 years work experience in a warehouse.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using Dynamics software and Salesforce.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills to effectively troubleshoot issues.
- Highly organized person with exceptional attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
