Job Summary
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive sales growth across ZOLL’s Advanced Life Support (ALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Public Safety (AED), Military, and Temperature Management product lines. The role involves developing strategic plans, cultivating high-impact customer relationships, and expanding ZOLL’s footprint across both private and public sectors in North India.
Essential Functions
Achieve and exceed annual sales and growth targets in the North India territory.
Develop and implement a strategic business plan to increase ZOLL’s market share across hospital, EMS, defence, and public safety segments.
Promote ZOLL’s Acute Care product range, including defibrillators, monitors, temperature management systems, and AEDs to hospitals, emergency services, defence institutions, and government agencies.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across private and government healthcare sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, biomedical engineers, hospital administrators, procurement teams, and defence medical officials.
Drive public safety engagement through AED deployments and training programs with government bodies, corporate partners, and CSR initiatives.
Collaborate closely with marketing, service, clinical support, operations, and channel partners to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with business goals.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and hands-on training for healthcare professionals and first responders.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to guide sales strategy and product positioning.
Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM data management.
Represent ZOLL at medical conferences, defence expos, and trade exhibitions to strengthen brand visibility and build networks.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
5–8 years of proven experience in medical device sales or business development, ideally in critical care, resuscitation, or emergency medical equipment.
Strong track record in capital equipment and solution selling within healthcare or public sector environments.
Solid understanding of hospital procurement processes, EMS systems, and defence medical frameworks.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel extensively across North India.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ZOLL’s product portfolio or similar life-support and temperature management technologies.
Ability to deliver customer training, workshops, and awareness programs on AED and resuscitation technologies.
