The incumbent will use their significant sales and marketing management experience to provide strategic insight into the development of sales and marketing plans on driving sales of ZOLL ACT products, services, and solutions into the respective market segments.

Essential Functions

  • Implement sales and marketing strategy to maximize potential in market segment

  • Develop new business, create market demand, conduct market research, organizing evaluation of new products

  • Servicing existing Healthcare personnel and key customers

  • Regular written structured reporting, and completion of sales reporting tools (salesforce.com)

  • Responsible for driving marketing strategies consistent with overall business objectives

  • Develop strategic plans and initiatives to gain greater market share and improve revenue generation

  • In collaboration with marketing partners, develop strategies and plans to drive growth

  • Monitor the implementation of the defined strategic objectives, analyse tendencies, and identify opportunities and new competitive advantages to define actions that guarantee the achievement of the defined commercial goals for products

  • Devise and implement strategies that reflect the specific needs of the market and the changing nature of selling into the market with the challenges and opportunities this presents.

  • Develop the team such that each team member achieves their maximum potential, nurturing a winning team spirit

  • Manage, coach and conduct sales team performance appraisals.

  • Develop strong working relationships with key opinion leaders in the market

  • Implement adequate weekly sales reporting from the wider team and provide monthly reporting to management.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • University Degree or Equivalent

  • 8 years or more experience in the Medical Device industry selling Medical Equipment’s, preferred

  • Relevant background experience that would benefit incumbent in this role, preferred

  • Experience in leading a team to achieve targeted market goals

  • High-performance mentality that is open and inclusive to leave a team with a continuous improvement approach

  • Strong track record of delivering sustained profitable growth in the healthcare market and developing markets for new and emerging medical technology

  • Relationship-building skills with customers and other key stakeholders

  • Demonstrable capacity to understand and convey complex clinical information and to appreciate trends in the marketplace

  • Key qualities in a salesperson which includes but is not limited to, negotiation, influencing, market knowledge, target driven.

  • Ability to develop innovative cooperation models in sales processes

  • Detail-oriented, independent, and hardworking

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal and people-management skills
