Job Summary

The position will be responsible for handling a variety of projects to support and improve the organizations internally developed cloud platform. To be successful in this position, you must be able to handle both the professional level (i.e. support the US team with all IT issues) as well as apply ZOLL Itamar IT procedures and regulations in the day-to-day contact with customers. The position will report to the Director of Software Solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the first point of contact for ZOLL Itamar employees and customers seeking technical assistance.

  • Aid employees and customers in the use of our proprietary platforms.

  • Diagnose new issues and document findings.

  • Aid customers in pre-install planning process, security evaluations and deployment

  • Record events and problems and their resolution in IT task system.

  • Monitor cloud platform and report issues.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment

  • Assist customers and field staff with periodic updates to locally installed software components.

  • Applying company’s IT regulations & procedures and monitoring compliance.

  • Responsible for communication solutions that involves IT.

  • Report relevant IT issues to company’s IT manager.

  • Comply with all policies and standards.

  • Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in (computer science) preferred

  • Previous experience as a systems administrator required

  • Experience with enterprise software security reviews required

  • 2 + years’ experience in software support required

  • Proven experience as IT support for at least 3 years required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong computer troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

  • Professional troubleshooting knowledge of windows in an enterprise setting

  • Strong understanding of computer security concepts

  • Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changes.

  • Strong customer service skills, with excellent written & verbal communication skills.

  • Independent - can learn and gain new knowledge on their own.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively & maintain professional conduct.

  • Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle several tasks and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.

  • Able to work longer hours or after hours to support company needs if they arise.

  • Travel up to 10%.

The annual salary for this position is:

$75,000.00 to $75,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
