Job Summary

The Director of Commercial Activity in Asia Pacific (APAC) will be leading ZOLL Itamar's commercial activity in the APAC region, alongside the Director of Clinical Affairs APAC and report to VP Business development. The role includes managing the distributors in existing markets, as well as develop new markets, and find new distributors.
The role also includes the development of a local sleep apnea diagnostic service in HK, as well as development of commercial activity in the Great Bay territory.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the commercial activity of existing distributors, including setting up targets and follow-up results.
  • Coordinate between the OUS marketing team and the distributors.
  • Develop new markets, locate and recruit new distributors, evaluate them and sign distribution agreements.
  • Identify potential markets for direct sales and lead the development of these markets.
  • Collaborate with the clinical director to implement the marketing strategy of the OUS team in the region.
  • Lead the development of OUS team first direct sales activity I APAC - a local sleep apnea diagnostic service in HK.
  • Develop commercial activity in the Great Bay (GBA).
  • Manage and monitor region’s sales targets.
  • Lead the communication with the distributors over commercial aspects.
  • Manage the diagnostic services in HK, including managing the office and the admin team.
  • Market development of the Great Bay market.
  • Develop distribution or direct sales activities in new markets.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Minimum of 10 years in a commercial position in the medical devices industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial background.
  • Experience in the Sleep Apnea market.
  • Experience in business development activity – develop new markets or services.

  • English - Expert


Travel Requirements

  • Expect traveling between once a month to twice a quarter.
