Job Summary
We are a global company with over 200 employees in Israel, looking for an experienced Payroll Accountant to join our HR team and support a diverse and international workforce.
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of the payroll process. This role requires strong attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and managers.
Essential Functions
- Manage and coordinate accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with Israeli labor law, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees, managers, and external vendors on payroll-related matters.
- Lead and manage the absence module in Workday and the local payroll system, including system maintenance, data accuracy, and ongoing process improvements.
- Generate payroll reports and submit required filings to authorities.
- Prepare vacation and sick leave reports for managers and partner with HR to resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee payroll for contractors, including payments and approvals.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of payroll and compensation-related processes.
- Support compensation and HR projects, as needed.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional Designation.
- At least 5 years of payroll experience in a global or high-tech environment.
- Experience with Workday - advantage.
- Experience working with global payroll platforms such as Deel is an advantage.
- Experience working with payroll systems, including Hashavit.

- Strong knowledge of payroll, tax, and labor law.
- Excellent attention to details and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, HR, and Finance.

- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, changing environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Manage and coordinate all pension and insurance processes, including ongoing administration, data accuracy, and compliance. Act as the primary point of contact with pension funds, insurance providers, and external vendors, and support employees and managers with related inquiries.
