Job Summary

As a member of the Customer Success Implementation Team, the IT Engineer is primarily responsible for the installation of ZOLL's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire Service RescueNet suite of software on client and/or internal systems. Included in the responsibilities of the IT Engineer are troubleshooting issues on customer/internal systems, creation and verification of hardware requirements, and the execution of process to ensure a successful installation of the RescueNet products. The IT Engineer scopes, schedules, and plans the installation of software, working closely with the Implementation team as well as the client's IT team to meet the overall timeframe for deployment. The goal of this position is to drive consistency throughout the scoping and installation process to ensure that the client environment is ready for the start of product training.

Essential Functions
  • Work with ZOLL Data employees and customers to evaluate client hardware and platform in preparation for the deployment of ZOLL software
  • Scope each new install and provide an implementation strategy prior to remoting installation
  • Facilitate scope calls with the customer to ensure proper hardware and other prerequisites are defined
  • Pre-install and configure RescueNet components
  • Work within the IT Services Group to develop processes and protocols for delivering quality solutions to our clients
  • Represent the company in a professional and competent manner as corporate liaison at all times
  • Manage client expectations and develop internal and external relationships
  • Continue to learn and apply IT methodologies and best practices
  • Willingly engage in self and professional improvement training utilizing both internal and external training tools and classes

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years 2+ years of external client facing IT related experience required and
  • Professional experience with Windows DNS required and
  • Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN architectures including firewalls, servers, and routers required and
  • Extensive experience installing and configuring server components such as services, IIS, virtual machines, Windows Server Active Directory and other server level systems required and
  • Experience troubleshooting Server Hardware problems required and
  • Experience and installation of SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2014, Server 2016 required and
  • Experience and thorough knowledge of Windows Server and workstation Operating Systems including installation, security and maintenance. preferred and
  • RAID knowledge and experience preferred

  • Understanding of SAN & NAS technologies
  • Understanding of HA technologies
  • High level technical aptitude and the ability to problem solve in an innovate way
  • Detail orientated and strong organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with excellent professional presence
  • Ability to manage numerous activities/projects within time constraints and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Public Safety, Fire and Emergency Management Services markets and related enterprise software applications is preferred

The annual salary for this position is:

$75,000.00 to $85,000.00
