Job Summary

ZOLL Itamar is seeking an experienced product leader to own the direction, business requirements, performance, and continuous improvement of key software solution products across the division. This role sits at the intersection of business, information systems, analytics, and software development, ensuring that software products are aligned to commercial and operational priorities and deliver measurable business value.

The Principal Product Manager will combine the capabilities of a senior software product manager, business requirements leader, and cross-functional solution owner. The individual will translate business needs into clear requirements for IS and development teams, prioritize enhancements, define and track product KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve adoption, workflow efficiency, and overall performance. The role will work closely with teams supporting platforms such as Salesforce and Power BI, as well as internal development teams responsible for server-based software applications. The role also requires effective collaboration with Israel-based development teams, including occasional overlap with Israel business hours and travel to Israel as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Product ownership and roadmap:

  • Own the business-facing strategy, roadmap, and enhancement pipeline for assigned software solution products.

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business value, customer impact, workflow improvement, scalability, and return on investment.

  • Identify opportunities for product innovation, process improvement, and better user experience across internal and external software solutions.

  • Drive product decisions using data, stakeholder input, market awareness, and operational insight.

  • Business requirements and solution definition:

  • Develop a deep understanding of ZOLL Itamar's business model, workflows, customer needs, and reporting requirements.

  • Translate business objectives into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

  • Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are complete, clear, and actionable.

  • Bring structure and discipline to solution design by challenging vague requests, surfacing tradeoffs, and clarifying scope.

  • Cross-functional leadership:

  • Partner with commercial, operations, customer-facing, analytics, and leadership teams to gather requirements and align priorities.

  • Work closely with IS partners on requirements tied to Salesforce, Power BI, data flows, dashboards, integrations, and related enterprise systems.

  • Collaborate with internal software development teams (aka “Digital Health R&D team”) on functionality, releases, enhancements, and issue resolution for server-based applications.

  • Ensure solutions are aligned with business processes, technical architecture, compliance expectations, and organizational priorities.

  • Performance measurement and continuous improvement:

  • Define and monitor KPIs related to product adoption, utilization, workflow efficiency, quality, business impact, and user satisfaction.

  • Use analytics, field feedback, and operating data to identify what is working, what is not, and where changes are required.

  • Lead regular product reviews and recommend enhancements or roadmap changes based on measured performance.

  • Establish a more rigorous product management discipline across software solutions within the division.

  • Execution and delivery:

  • Manage and refine the product backlog in partnership with IS and software development teams.

  • Ensure requirements are well defined before development begins and that delivered functionality meets intended business outcomes.

  • Support testing, validation, rollout planning, stakeholder communication, and user adoption efforts.

  • Help reduce rework and improve delivery quality by improving requirement definition, prioritization, and acceptance practices.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field. required

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software product management, business systems, product ownership, business analysis, or related roles. required

  • Significant experience translating business needs into structured requirements for technical teams. required

  • Demonstrated experience owning software products or business applications through enhancement and continuous improvement. required

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, diagnostics, digital health, or another regulated environment. preferred

  • Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, reporting environments, integrations, and enterprise data flows. preferred

  • Experience working with internally developed software platforms and server-based applications. preferred

  • Experience supporting and collaborating with Israeli development teams. preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong ability to define KPIs, measure product performance, and use data to drive decisions.

  • Executive presence and strong communication skills across business, IS, analytics, and engineering environments.

  • Fluent in both English and Hebrew, with excellent written and spoken communication skills in both languages.

  • Ability to occasionally work overlap hours with the Israel time zone.

  • Familiarity with agile product development, backlog management, release planning, and user acceptance practices.

  • Track record of improving business processes through software enhancements and better product governance.

  • Ability to travel to Israel as needed.

The annual salary for this position is:

$150,000.00 to $224,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan. Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
