Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead growth within the Government and Military segment across the APAC region. This role is responsible for shaping and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to expand the adoption of ZOLL ACT products, services, and solutions.
Partnering closely with regional sales leaders and the Global Government/Military team, you will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and navigating complex procurement processes to achieve sustainable revenue growth.
This is a highly collaborative, regionally focused role with exposure to global stakeholders, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in a specialized and mission-critical market.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive growth within the Government and Military segment across APAC
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities, including RFIs, tenders, and procurement processes
Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and budget objectives to deliver sustainable, profitable growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with government, military, and key decision-makers across the region
Partner with regional sales teams and distributors to expand market share and drive market penetration
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities
Lead territory and account planning, ensuring effective customer engagement and pipeline development
Deliver compelling presentations, support product evaluations, and implement customer education programs
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective pre- and post-sales support and account management
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting using CRM tools, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the healthcare or medical device industry
Experience working with government or military customers is highly advantageous
Strong understanding of regional procurement and tender processes
Proven ability to build strategic relationships and influence stakeholders
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to operate in a regional, cross-functional environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong professional presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
