Job Summary

We are looking for an innovative, strategic, results-oriented leader who will be responsible for leading the regional marketing for a growing, fast-paced business unit. The Director of North America Public Safety Marketing will be responsible for managing a team of seasoned marketers in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales through our distribution channels. This role requires a dynamic, well-rounded leader with a deep understanding of hardware distribution channels expert with distribution experience, lead generation/demand creation and sales development strategies. In this role, you will work closely with sales to align on business objectives to drive regional marketing strategies, execution and measurement of go-to-market activities. This exciting role encompasses our growing public safety portfolio inclusive of AEDs, rescue systems and software solutions.

Essential Functions
  • Develop influential and collaborative partnerships with sales leadership and other management peers within ZOLL along within our distribution partner community to help support revenue goals and overall public safety requirements.
  • Lead a seasoned team of marketers to execute programs, channel activities, lead generation and product launches to help grow revenue. Establish personal objectives for the team to help achieve revenue targets and marketing objectives. Provide coaching as necessary to grow and develop the team
  • Manage a growing sales development team by defining new strategies and metrics to grow the pipeline of qualified leads to our distributor community.
  • Produce annual marketing plan and budget that aligns strategies and tactics with those defined in the public safety mid-term plan; contribute to annual mid-term planning activities
  • Work with product management to define, research and guide development of public safety products to ensure needs of customers and channel partners are met
  • Responsible for leading the integration of new products into the portfolio, including developing and executing positioning and go-to-market strategy for the region
  • As a senior member of the marketing team, be an expert collaborator globally and owner of the regional marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with global constituents to align on marketing goals, plans and activities to foster learning and best practices throughout the globe

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree In business or marketing. required
  • Minimum of 12 years of Marketing experience within a B2B industry; must have experience working with capital equipment distribution networks, public safety or medical distribution. required and
  • Minimum 5-7 years team management experience required and
  • Experience in medical devices is not required however, experience marketing capital equipment (non-software or service) products sold through multi-tiered distribution partners is essential. required and
  • Experience working with manufacturers reps and buying groups. preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven, hands on experience and understanding working with B2B distribution, channel marketing and lead generation
  • Experience with managing an inside sales or sales development team
  • A pro-active hands-on approach, with the ability to work on both strategic and tactical levels
  • A strong leader and team player, who can empower and develop a fast-paced team
  • A solid track record in understanding analytics to help drive decisions to continually optimize activities
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and ability to get buy-in across various teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; skilled at telling a story
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and marketing automation for lead and sales development management
  • Experience in managing budgets
  • Highly motivated individual with energy, enthusiasm and passion for fostering internal and external relationships

Travel Requirements
  • Travel within North America; 20-30% annually.

The annual salary for this position is:

$160,000.00 to $195,000.00
