Job Summary
The manufacturing engineering and NPI team leader manages the team for all technical aspects of the products being manufactured in production through their life cycle, improving efficiency, ensuring high-quality, on-time production and reducing costs. This role includes building and implementing processes and driving project execution from development to production environments

Essential Functions

  • Mange and mentor the Manufacturing Engineering team end-to-end.
  • Manage New Products Introduction processes, from R&D and initial prototype to mass production and products stabilization
  • Managing mold duplication projects ensures that projects are completed on time and meeting quality standards.
  • Lead engineering change orders (ECOs) for product improvements and second source qualification
  • Develop production jigs, tools and testers within the production floor and at sub-contractors
  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes include tools IQ/OQ/PQ and product Process validation processes
  • Improve production failure rates
  • Oversee planning, prioritization, workflows, staffing, and performance.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and cross‑functional teams.
  • Advanced CAD design proficiency (SolidWorks)
  • Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes for medical devices.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • At least 4 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment or similar manufacturing industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing manufacturing engineering teams with multi-disciplinary products
  • At least 5 years in high volume production processes
  • At least 3 years of experience with NPI and ECO’s processes
  • At least 10 years of experience in CAD and PLM systems
  • Experience in jig design, including requirements, design and validation
  • Background in the worlds of plastic injection molding, precision assemblies


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Hebrew - Expert
  • English - Advanced

  • Centers in Caesarea
