Job Summary
Responsible for providing support and oversight of the activities relating to the review, disposition and material handling of rejected materials. Ensures the MRB area is maintained in a neat, orderly manner and that an accurate inventory of rejected materials is maintained. Contributes to the continuous quality improvement activities in support of ZOLL-Pawtucket's Quality Management System.
Essential Functions
- Support of MRB Activities including investigations, continuous Improvement and participation in Audits
- As the primary associate involved in MRB activities reviews rejected materials, coordinate the disposition of the materials and determine where said materials are to be held and released for scrap.
- Provide management with timely, accurate reports concerning the status of MRB materials and maintains an accurate inventory recording the disposition of all material held in the MRB area.
- Participate as a team member or as an individual contributor in investigations to determine the root cause of non-conformance(s) and recommend the implementation of corrective and preventative actions to reduce/eliminate future incidents. May also participate in the CAPA process/investigations when requested to do so.
- Promote the continuous improvement of the MRB process by monitoring and reporting on DMR disposition activities and the re-purposing of nonconforming inventory when decisions are made by the Company to do so.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with key personnel to review MFB metrics, report on defects and visible trending- specifically in the raw material area. Prepare and submit metrics for review in accordance with management’s defined schedules.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
- BS/BA in an appropriate field a plus preferred
- Three years of experience supporting supply chain/warehousing/logistics activities which includes oversight for transactional movement/disposition of materials in the Company’s business system required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity in product structure, BOM’s, ECO’s, Agile System & Oracle systems

The hourly pay rate for this position is:
