About the Role
The Business Support Officer plays a key role in supporting customer service, order fulfilment, logistics, and warehouse operations in Indonesia. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient business operations while maintaining compliance with Indonesia's Good Distribution Practice (CDAKB) requirements.
Essential Functions
Provide business support for customer order fulfilment, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing timely and accurate updates on purchase orders, sales orders, shipments, returns, and credit requests.
Deliver exceptional customer service by handling enquiries, resolving issues, and providing product and service information.
Manage the flow of goods through the warehouse, including product labelling and inventory coordination.
Ensure warehouse operations and product handling comply with Indonesia's Good Distribution Practice (CDAKB) requirements.
Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Track shipments, investigate and resolve delivery issues, and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise effectively with suppliers, logistics providers, transport companies, and other business partners to support daily operations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to orders, shipments, and inventory.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and undertake other duties as assigned.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, or a related discipline.
Experience in customer service, business support, order management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Familiarity with Indonesia's Good Distribution Practice (CDAKB) requirements is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems is an advantage.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and good written and spoken English.
